Ontario Peach Crumble Tarts: Our Recipe

Make 24 mini tarts

Peach Pie Filling

5 cups peaches, peeled, and diced
½ cup brown sugar
¼ teaspoon white sugar
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons cornstarch

1. In a large bowl combine peaches, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
2. Once well combined, coat in cornstarch.
3. Mix until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
4. Set pie filling aside

Crumble Topping

½ cup PC Country Churned Butter, Unsalted
¾ cup flour
¾ whole oats
½ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon PC Black Label Cinnamon Spice

1. Melt and cool butter slightly. Set aside.
2. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon.
3. Add butter and mix with hands, until a crumb is formed.

Additional Items

24 Tenderflake Mini Tart Shells


1. Preheat oven to 375 F
2. Place mini tart shells on a baking tray.
3. Evenly spoon peach pie filling into each shell.
4. Top each mini pie with the crumble topping.
5. Place pies in oven and bake 25-35 minutes or until pie crust and crumb are golden brown and filling boils.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.

NOTE: If crumble is darkening too quickly, wrap the bake tray in foil but remove with 5 minutes bake time left to crisp up.
