Reward your team with one of our corporate team building cooking classes. These hands-on classes are the perfect get-away from the office. Classes are custom designed for your group and facilitated by one of our professional Chefs at Chefs at Massine’s Cooking School.

3 HOUR HANDS ON CLASSES:
All classes include a meet and greet with appetizers, snacks and sparkling water. Dessert classes include a light healthy meal.
Minimum 10 people. $68 per person.
A non-refundable deposit of $204 plus tax is due to hold the space and then deducted from the final payment due 48 hours before the class. Sorry, no refunds for no-shows!

Knife Skills 101
Learn to chop, dice, mince, chiffonade and more! In this hand-on class, our chef guides you through the basics of knife skills, while cooking a delectable meal. Create Classic Minestrone Soup, Mushroom Barley Soup, Butternut Squash Risotto with Sage, and for dessert Pear, Apple Cinnamon Crumble and Italian Prune Plum Crisp.
Start with a glass of sparkling water and some snacks from the antipasti platter. Then, our chef takes you through all the steps of making hand-made pasta. Start by making fresh pasta dough, which you will make into ravioli sheets. Then, hand-cut and stuffed ravioli with various fillings and top with homemade sauce.
Choose three types of ravioli from our list:
Fresh Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli
Butternut Squash Ravioli
And three types of sauce
Brown Butter Sauce
Tomato Basil Sauce
Tomato Vodka Sauce
Roasted Garlic Aioli
Add a Caesar Salad and it’s time to eat!
This class takes its food and flavour from the countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Think: Greece, France, Italy, Spain and Morocco. Upon arrival enjoy sparkling water and indulge in Herbed Pita Bread, with homemade Black Olive Tapenade, Hummus and Tztaziki. Then, roll up your sleeves and pick a partner. Together you will make Ratatouille, Roasted Spanish Chicken and Cous Cous Chickpea Salad. Relax, while the Chef demonstrates how to make Linguine with Shrimp and Lemon. Taste a swirl of pasta, before eating the buffet of food you have created. Finish with a mint tea and Mediterranean dessert.
Dinner Party with Friends
Upon arrival you will be greeted with a Chef’s Selection of Appetizers and sparkling water. Then, as a team you will make: Butternut Squash Stuffed with Spiced Wild Rice; Maple Medallion Carrots; Chicken Breast with Mushrooms Butter, Wine and Thyme and for dessert Classic French Lemon Tarts. This workshop begins with the history of chocolate. Learn about flavours, profiles and of course tastings and samples. Crafting chocolate truffles begins with the pouring hot cream over chopped chocolate to form a ganache—the delectable soft centre filling. Then learn how professional temper chocolate to top truffles with a glossy sheen to harden. Roll your truffles in an array of toppings to match your taste buds. Box. Wrap in ribbons and take home. Salads, beverages and light snacks provided.
